Hurrah

Captain Walton, 5th goal of the season, 0 suspensions, single-handedly keeping us in the fight?

Still wouldn't surprise me if they managed to screw this up, remember Aldershot earlier on this year!

This is the sort of result which, allied with a few more like it, pales into significance events off the pitch like the backwardness of Wrathall's invitation back. I mean, I don't really care whose noshing off who behind the grandstand if we're winning.

Long may it continue.
Positive Argyle results keep the clique off the front pages.

Typical Argyle.

I predict 3 0 and they go and score four in the first half.

Sort it out Flethcher!

Got in switched on final score and 4-0 HT Shocked Shocked Laughing

Surely no team is that shit? It's quite simply impossible!

Anyway, well played Argo!

We can be certain Northampton will score in the 2nd half. Just hope they don't score more than 3.

i'm looking forward to the following posts to be rammed down our throats here and on pasoti

Chadwick is an inspired signing all who doubted him dont know what they are talking about

Fletcher is the man whoever doubts him are fools and not fans

Chadwick is our messiah

Walton isnt fit enough

Purse can do no wrong best defender since Elliot Ward

All after one game :O whilst winning is awesome for us and i'll be very happy with the 3 points i just wish some fans wouldn't go OTT and think that we won the league now. Fact is we are playing Northampton who are very poor atm whilst winning the game is great we need to remember that if we cant beat teams in this kind of form then we really havent got a chance. Chadwick scoring is very good happy he has score and got an assist but come on he hasnt proven anything yet lets see if he can sustain this before people start with the i never doubted him bullshit.

Hey Walton scored today are people going to give him credit or continue to slate him?

Fletcher manages to win this game great lets give him a ten year contract. same with Chadwick he needs to prove this isnt a flash in the pan now.

We are still adrift at the bottom of the league which is why we need to put a string of results together to make this count. Too many times in the lst two years we failed to do this and we were punished for it.

purse played only one game and already he is the greatest defender ever lol its laughable really after one game.

progress is good but one swallow doesnt mean its summertime now progress needs to be sustain. COYG lets make this game count

I didn't realise Northampton lost 7-2 st home last week. I think I'll wait to see how we get on next week against better opposition before deciding if any corners may have been turned.

Bradford secured a good point at Gillingham today, a win there though next week will put Argyle on the same amount of points and with a real platform to build upon.

Was it me who changed the name of my own thread? Again Lol.

Good, positive result and delighted to hear we've picked up 3 points with a much better display going forward!

I do remember us beating Reading by a similar scoreline under Mariner around about Christmas, but this one feels a bit more like a resurgance what with the new signings and that, so well done to whoever organised those (Rids/Fletch?). Let's hope we can string a few wins together!

I think everyone likes Richard blight so posts are named in his honour! It was hard to know where to place your money today. Northampton had just conceded 7 at home and lost their last 8 games so normally you would stick your house on them ending their run at hone park. But, we've historically had awful, something should be done results, and then picked the same team and had amazing results elsewhere.

The new Argyle Ultras seem to have worked, one swallow etc but it's a start

Wasn't expecting this result (I thought we may win) and it seemed a good all round performance. It was a shame we couldn't score more in the second half or keep a clean sheet, but at least it helps with our goal difference.

We're not playing Bradford untiil 10th December as we have our traditional FA Cup break next weekend.
