Ok I'm back . Small meal as I have some "tummy problems " at the moment . I eat small and often to compensate .

Yes I've got LOADS of posts on Pasoti as I've been on there under the same user name for about 8 or 9 years I believe . average about 5 posts a day . I tend to stay off and binge posts when nothing better to do . I have been threatened with banning once ( by Baba when he was a mod ) I'm not actually a paid up member weirdly but it keeps slipping my mind . I'll rectify that . I like Pasoti I think its great . I guess I've been mentioned here because of my large number of posts ( I saw that mentioned somwhere ) . Bit odd that some of you talk about that likes its something wrong but at the same time on your 6 month review congratulate each other on your number of posts on here in that short time .
I definitely wouldn't want to be a Mod on there as i wouldn't want to put up with the flak they get . Only once I wished I was one when some idiot kept posting pornographic images on there over and over again . No mods were on duty but thankfully one of them came online soon and rectified it .

I've been discribed as a master ass kisser on here . Oh ffs lads ! If I am perceived as that because I praise people who work hard for the Club and raising funds for the staff then yes I am guilty as charged . I like people who work for the Club .

I think Chris Webb is a top guy for what he has done . Him and Ian Newell were hated by Brenda - that speaks volumed to me .

As for the GTs - fantastic people ! Ive seen their work first hand and some of the tales of how staff have sufferd is heartbreaking but the Gts have been there at the ground nearly every day dealing with peoples personal crises . What is wrong with that . I've been to 3 Fans Fests and enjoyed them . I've taken friends who support other Clubs and they have been well impressed .Each time I've seen fans of the opposing team go in there and get treated like long lost friends . On Saturday a few Stourbridge fans walked in anad received a round of applause . I see stuff happening that relates to the hospitality like is afforded fans of opposing sides at Rugby matches . Its great !

Oooohh look at me kissing arse again LOL ! I say it as I see it lads . Thats me - slaughter me if you want but I'm genuine and you won't change me .

One word - could you consider what you say about some people ? People get hurt you know . Is it really necessary .

Peter Dout discribed me as someone who says what he believes and means it 100% . He said he thought it might not be right foe an Internet forum but hey I like me so there you are .

Your replies will be interesting .

I have sent the dove of peace to Ian this very day. He hasn't replied yet.

You'll have to meet half way and you'll have to change your ways for it to be genuine . Be honest some of the stuff on here is outrageous . Me Ian Newell and Chris Webb as a threesome in bed ffs ! Thats just so low . Its childish and beggers belief . I'd personally rather stick hot needles in my eyeballs and I like them both a lot .

Don't think I've ever said that ? Unless you mean the Exeweb stuff. They're always on about that sort of thing on there. Certainly hasn't come from here. If I did infer that kind of thing on Exeweb, on reflection, I will apologise here and now. As you say, a bridge too far . The insults do tend to fly in rapid succession on there and Ian is usually in the middle of it.

Someone said it on this forum somewhere - check for yourself . I can't be arsed to dig it out .

Hello GG (again), it was me who wrote the ass licker comment and I apologise for that. I know its a poor excuse but I'd been out that night and had a few too many and went on the net when I got home (which is never good).I'll donate a tenner to your Movember fund if you post the details on pasoti/ here.

The history between IJN and the main posters on here is quite lengthy (don't get Tring started Laughing ). Its not all one way as flak comes this way (we're known as the Freaks and there have been quite a number anti-ATD posts on pasoti that have been deleted) and is posted on various websites. If you also look at the reasons why posters from this site were banned from pasoti they are quite petty and do not break any of the rules of the pasoti agreement.

I've been to a couple of fanfests and I did enjoy the last one. The only downer was watching the game (agst Accrington).

You lot should concentrate on the Argyle bit instead of fixating on Pasoti and personalities . As I said I was once threatened with banning from Pasoti by Baba when he was a Mod because I pissed him off . We've since met shook hands and had a drink together and a laugh . He's a nice bloke . Try that approach sometime .

Off to polish my halo now . LOL .

Concentrating on the football and blindly following instructions is not our style and never will be.
It's what got the club into this mess in the first place.
I kept on saying the same things as Peter Jones. They banned me. He could be the next Chairman ! There's no justice.

Where do these instructions come from ? I've never recieved any at any time . I first met IJN when I went up into the Grandstand to have a go at the Board and Ian and others were there to do the same and it wasn't prearranged . We got a rough ride up there off some . By all means take interest in how the Club is run and give fair criticism where due . I just think you really should let this fixation on personalities on Pasoti go . Ian is a very nice guy when you get to know him .

As I said earlier, Peter and I used to preach from the same page.. We even PM'd eachother with information etc. I was a tad more acerbic to try to make people see sense. Those days are the origins of the unpleasantness. Sad really.

I think you may find a few allies on here GG with regards to Mr Jones.

In respect to your earlier post I used to like PASOTI and believe it or not I also have a sneaky regard for Mr Newell, irrespective of the major issues some of the guys rightly have with him on here.

My issue with the site is that it has turned into a collective of backslapping superfans who appear to be more interested in the fanfest, flogging/buying football memorabilia and brown nosing the ""peoples president""rather than what is actually happening on the pitch.
We are propping up the Football League GG!! Armed with a novice manager & backroom staff, a team of kids and an owner who knows Sweet FA about football and from the outside appears, jeez I hope I am wrong, to be taking football advice from said superfan inner sanctum AKA CP ers.

The back slapping season should of ended the day Brent was given the keys, both Chris Webb and IJN did perform a good job and I have acknowledged that on here, however it is time to concentrate on whats going on at pitch level rather than debating who owns the biggest jesters hat and collectively rounding up on fans YES fans who show a different approach to supporting OUR local football club, just because I cant attend every home game due to work commitments I am castigated by the likes of IJN as not being a proper fan, its poor form GG.

The egos of certain individuals really needs to be toned down a tad as they are seriously alienating a core group of fellow supporters they purport to be reaching out to, the gifts have been handed out, Brent now owns the club and the Fanfests appear to be a permanent fixture, now is the time to move the debate forward and at least make an attempt to be less inclusive on there.

Well you must live on a different planet to me . The only back slapping I've seen is when people are down and a word of encourgement is needed to bring them up . There are definitely no big egos as they all take the piss out of each other and Ian gets it the most . If anyone were to get jumped up they'd be put in their place right away . The favourite topic of conversation is what goes on on the pitch .
You don't have to tell me whats wrong on the pitch its there for all to see . GOOD NEWS though striker to sign in next couple of days and more to follow . Back Slapping Super Fans ? Sorry thats your interpretation and its far from the truth . Every one is working their nads off for the betterment of the Club .
The staff saved the Club and it was a very heavy burden but Ian Newell Chris Webb thwe other CPers and the GTs helped them carry the load .
A lot of people on here refuse to see the real picture . GOOD people working together helped save Argyle . They are unassuming self deprecating ordinary fans . No more no less .

Sorry, I don't agree with you - or at least the bit about the back-slapping etc. I certainly agree that some people worked very hard to save the club and, whether or not you agree that their work was in the right direction (I don't profess to really understand what went on) they most definitely deserve praise. But the sycophantic attempts to get close to the pack leaders have been off-putting at times. I don't know who I blame the most for that - the individuals concerned or the pack.

I don't know if you are referring to the banter behind the scenes between mates. In which case I bow to your greater knowledge and in that situation friendship counts. I have had a limited personal contact with a couple and in that setting I found them very pleasant, considerate, measured and helpful. But in terms of public presentation perception is all and my view is that at times some of the leaders relished their pedestals.

I agree with Arch stanton here...Pasoti has become the plaything of the arrogant few, if you havnt got more then 3,000 posts you might as well talk to to your shoe because no one cares, and as soon as you do you get banned if your opinion differs with theirs.
Green genes cabn waffle what he likes...we all know which way the wind blows.

And here we see the thick headed -ness of the Pasoti elite poking fun at Luton....i do despair at times, i really do

Nick Pastie and his choice comments could get him into the Aviva wall of fame ,up there with Newell,Webb and Green Genes in the "we backed Stapes" brigade!!

Life is a funny thing. I personally rarely judge people by how they treat me, that's often irrelevant and could be nothing more than a smell liked or not liked. When I do judge, I usually refer to how they treat everyone as a whole.

Can I add my voice to the welcoming committee. Greengenes and Mr Rapson are just the type of posters "from the other side" that we need on here. Lets have sensible discussion and no stupid name calling. Not so sure about Womble but we try to keep this a free and open site.

Welcome aboard GG old friend, there is life outside PASOTI and it's entirely possible to co-exist over the two sites.

Contrary to the percieved wisdom on PASOTI you'll have found by now that you didn't suddenly grow horns or howl at the moon when you registered here. You're not a freak, you're a free man. If I can offer a tip it would be to be yourself and not cow tow to the general vibe of negativity that can sometimes persist. Stand your ground if you need to go against the ATD party line, it's then the difference becomes apparent.

On PASOTI (you don't have to use the term Aviva/Farm, it's not compulsory) you step into a minefield when you challenge the party line and posts/threads can fall away under your feet. Here you say your bit and stand your ground, people will agree with you or call you a tw@t, either way it's grown up so you know a beer or two could easily be shared afterwards. I get the impression sometimes that's not the case on the other side, people hold grudges and you're as likely to get that beer in your face as down your neck.

We're all Argyle fans, some have just picked up a fair bit of Argyle PTSD but they're allowed a POV here.

Welcome buddy.
