Ten years ago THE RELUCTANT ONE  released his pipe dream for HHP which included a school, a dentist, restaurants, shops, cafes, a cinema, a ice rink, a hotel, a multiple storey carpark, an active road runnig directly alongside the lyndhurst, a memorial garden, the green tarveners bar and last but not least a smaller grandstand than we have now.  

im still baffled how that ever got planning permission despite it destroying central park to the point of no return and the roads not being fit to cope with the excess traffic. Thank god it never came close to being reality. the project lovingly dubbed the clusterfuck was exactly that. Nothing that was planned to be rammed into that carpark was designed with any intention of benefiting the club on or off the pitch and im still stunned how so many fans where blinded and deaf to that fact when they where pushing for the council to grant planning permission.

ten years on we have a new grandstand well a mankover of the previous one that kept all its faults while looking modern and peppered with faults, nothing planned to be built on the carpark and most of the clubs property development ideas have the club at the centre of it goals, improved facilities at harpers park and the brickfields development.

Brent is still revered by the Farm, maybe he doesn't want to publicly upset the farm owner.

Why would It be a big deal to upset the farm and it's donors?
Can't imagine a few grand of donations means anything to the board
