It's raining like fook.

Wife in bed a little under the weather, gave her breakfast in bed and done the down stairs house work,

What a good boy I am

Big news. Last night and this morning the kettle reverted to automatic. I still don't trust the pesky blighter, though.

Once again there was no lego at stay and play. However, there was K-nex, which is almost as good. The five year old made a chair and some steps, while I constructed an alternative international space station.

im off to bed with the dog,she can keep my toes warm

Just finished a lovely Italian, meal not chap, swigging a longneck Tooheys Dark.

Sandwiches are starting to annoy me.   I can barely contain my excitement when the missus comes back from Tesco with tortilla wraps.

I just had a Ron Dewdney's and I expect to have it again every 2 hours for the next 24 hours.

I'd love a pasty right now.  My only option in Chingford is going to the Tesco hot cabinet.  Poor.

Went for a really serious job interview today. Got the job.

Much more importantly, the kettle continues to behave itself.

Does a "really serious job interview" mean you weren't allowed to laugh? I hope a smile would have been acceptable. Jobs should be fun.

Not only did I smile, I also made the interviewers laugh. (That's with me, not at me.) It's the job that's serious - but I won't let it change me

I'm with you all the way there. My current fav alternative is Piri Piri flavour 'Fridge Raiders', on offer at Morrisons (59p). My fridge is full if them. They're lovely.
