They eat a lot of Goat in Portugal, very tasty, and Morocco where they also eat all the innards, not so tasty.

In a better mood again now. Took my mum to the library, then did some shopping for her and discovered that Lidl have their once-in-a-blue-moon supply of something I really like, so I stocked up a bit. Would have got more if I'd had the cash on me.

Not saying what it is in case everybody else rushes to buy what's left.

I have had three quite strong large mugs of de caf tea today, now my eyesight has gone all blurry leading me to believe that de caf tea has caffeine in it.

Whereas I spent the evening in Bere Ferrers & a walk up the Tavy. All we saw of any interest at all were shelduck.

Damn fine pint in the Plough, though. White Horse Brewery make a beer called Village Idiot. I couldn't resist and was well rewarded!

I (or rather the people I was with) went to a roadkill restaurant in Arkansas once. Roadkill was off.

(That's off as in they didn't have any, not off as in rancid.)

Decided I'm going to make an effort with my lawn this year. Went to Otter Nurseries this morning and bought some overpriced lawn dressing and overpriced seed. Then cut and aerated the existing area before dressing, overseeding, rolling and watering.

You know that you're getting older when you see tending your lawn as a priority over casually surfing the web for Porn.

In times gone past all you needed to grow good grass was a box of Trill. Cheap.

There's a sign outside one on Route 66 (I think)...

Run out of cottage cheese now.

I've got some yogurt, so won't suffer any dairy withdrawal. It's not the same, though.

It's my little lads 2nd birthday tomorrow so there's lots to be done. The missus is so busy baking and making cards she says I'll have to wait 5 minutes until she can bring me another coffee!

Any longer than 5 minutes would be taking the piss though. She probably thinks I'll crack first and pause the football and do it myself but she would be wrong.

4-0 to Bayern against a piss poor Barcelona.

Oh mummy and daddy. Birthday cake and trampolining ... Basketball

There's a little trampoline in the playground at the small people's school. It's set flush to the ground, which means the five year old can get some speed in the run up, do one BIG bounce and use the momentum to propel her right off the other side. Then, without pausing, she goes and climbs something.
