Christian Walton signs for Brighton

Looks like Brighton want to sign our promising young keeper,after his recent trial-

For some obscure reason my mind immediately sprung to Simon Walton and the question WHY.

No doubt a Plymouth price will sonn be winging our way.

I originally put Walton, but thought I'd make it clear with the "C"!

I reckon a really derisory, pithy 'undisclosed' bid which is so nominal it'll be like farting into the wind.

Errington has reported Argyle will get further fees depending on his development/ appearances.

Someone has spotted some serious potential there then. It barely seems 5 minutes ago they were playing at the simply shocking Withdean, and were perennially down on their luck.

I know we're f*cking shit, but it's still annoying to lose talent to a team we were battering just a few years back.

Makes me wonder if we would have been better off if we let him leave in the summer when Fulham (I think) seemed keen. Ah well, best of luck to the guy.

I just hope the deal is worth it for the club in the long run. Cant help but feel he went for a Plymouth Price though.

I bet Ollie Chenoweth is relieved Walton has gone as it strengthens his case for a new contract. He isnt a bad keeper either.

Seeing as tho most transfers seem to be undisclosed nowadays, is it likely that this will show up in the accounts (should the fans ever get to see them in these days of transparency)?

Best of luck to him. Any young player with any talent or sense would be well advised to move away from this train wreck of a football club. Clubs like Brighton have in a very short time, moved light years ahead of us in the footballing universe.
