Once we have payed the useless one his compensation pay out i doubt very much there will be any money to pay off either of our Devon chums for poaching their managers.

I saw someone suggest Sean Dyche on twitter who did well at Watford. Whether he'd come here is doubtful.

Did a great job at Watford. Very unlucky to be moved out so the new Italian owners could bring in the Udinese reserves under Zola.

Wouldn't be a bad call but would prefer Cotterill who always seems to get results wherever he goes.

It wouldn't surprise me if they went for a cheap patch up job until the end of the season and appointed Kevin Hodges until then, assisted by Wotton or something along those lines.

I can't really see any money being available in this transfer window, so they might gamble on keeping afloat until they can appoint someone of more substance.

Anyone would have to be better than Fletcher, with the exception possibly of Dane Bunney, who is already composing his CV.

I'd bet money that it will be a manager with league experience and not in house. We'll see.

You will need to pay 2 years wages for Tisdale and £300K you aint got. Add to that, it would be perceived as a backward step from a manager who had altready turned down bigger clubs like Swansea (twice) and Southampton.

Lets face it, Argyle will be relegated this season. You will lose your next 2 games before a real manager is appointed, then you will probably win a couple and draw a couple before the reality of your dire squad hits home to your new manager and then you will go on a losing streak to the Blue Square. Anyone with any inside info could make a little money on this...wasn't it alleged (and never proved) that 'Arry and Mandaric made money on the Portsmouth Managers market when he jumped ship from Southampton?

And Red............... you'd miss us. However, we really are in the brown stuff and unless the new man is any good, comes in quickly and is given enough money to get in some proven and fit loan signings, it could happen.

I would think Dane Bunney has a better chance than Romain Larrieu of getting the job.....most of those names on that list would be taking a backward step into oblivion....and working for peanuts.

My choice although it won't happen would be Sean O'Driscoll....he was doing a good job at Forest.

An experienced LEAGUE manager and a firefighter (no not a crocked non-league 'striker') is what will save us. Someone to come in, off load all clueless's shit - chadwick, griffiths et al - ,use his contacts to bring in solid L2 standard players, and get the team gelled as a tight and well drilled unit that isn't so piss easy to beat.

To clarify, I'm betting that the new manager (after Ro and Nance's temporary spell) will have had at least one spell managing in the football league and is not currently employed by PAFC in another capacity.

I think you have to take into account sexstones bristol city connection, it usually works that way, so Gary Johnson might be worth a punt.

Good lower league experience and he knows he can't take Yeovil any further than he has. If Argyle are serious about this then they need to make money available or else it won't matter who gets the gig because it will be a dead end job with mid table obscurity the best a manager could reasonably be expected to achieve.

This appointment will really tell us how much Brent cares about the football club compared to his other business ventures.

It wouldn't take much to finish 3rd bottom so it's lookin further ahead that's important to me.
