Ok, I wasn't going to post about this, but in the circumstances I feel I have no choice.

We CAN save this box!

Throughout my years of posting letters in this box, the spirit of my fellow posters, letter senders and kindred souls alike have kept me going. THIS letterbox, THIS town, THIS road.

I AM a positive person. I AM on the backs of the administrators of this postbox. I AM going to get myself on Radio Gloucestershire as often as possible in order to raise awareness of it's plight.

Then we call refer to it as 'the Postbox which refused to die!'.

Cue messages of 'brings a tear to my eye' from Nool and Saracen10.

Rapturous internet based applause from the Legion of Nerde.

A quick lick of gold paint and it will be fine

It was them wankers at ATD that did it, I sore them.

I remember my old Dad, went out to post a letter in that box, came back later on after having done just that.
