Sorry to break it to you, but were not signing him, would have to pay cash up front and his wages would be way too high

Swindon have announced he's got an offer and he's discussing personal terms, they mention Scunthorpe and Stevenage, nothing about us

If he picks either of those over us we really have plumbed new depths.

Both those clubs are light years ahead of us both on and off the pitch. We will lose out to them every single time.

BRENT OUT!

I'm surprised that anyone is surprised that we have to compete with the likes of Stevenage and Scunthorpe. That is where we are. It's not where you start, though, it's where you finish.

No sh*t, we plummeted to a division below them!

Sorry if that sounds too sarcastic, but we are where we are sadly and frankly, they're above us.

We should still be above them but we trusted in stapes.

If Swindon (or scunthorpe and stevenage) don't want him for any reason then he may come to us. But we're a struggling bottom of L2 outfit. He's not going to turn down anyone to come here.

Looks like its just a rumour (according to the Swindon Advertiser)-

Quote :
One player who is edging closer to a move away from the County Ground is striker Alan Connell, although the Advertiser understands there is little truth in the rumours linking the 29-year-old to League Two side Plymouth Argyle, who are managed by Connell’s former Bournemouth teammate Carl Fletcher.

Little truth in Connell to PAFC

Is that two mates too mate, or two mates to mate, mate. If it was two mates to mate, mate, what would you be in relation to the offspring?
