Salmon baked in herbs (cooked by me) with mixed salad followed by the most delectable crumble (sadly without cream - cooked by my hostess) that I have had for a long time!

Not enough wine so I'm home swallowing another glass-full.

Cheese & onion, salad cream & mustard (saladturd) sandwich, on/within brown bread, + scotch egg + cheese & onion crisps (walkers) + fruit pie Very Happy

sliced roast beef, with onion & horse raddish (creamy) sauce, on/within wholemeal + the other half of scotch egg + steak & onion crisps, Mmmmmmmmm Very Happy

Cup of tea and two ginger nut biscuits. The very best dunkers. They need to be soft enough to melt in your mouth but with enough bite to register. It's an art.

Whenever I suggest to someone that cucumber is good for stir-frying I always get a disbelieving look.
Maybe apple is good as well. (Probably not.)

i cant see why you couldnt stir fry firm apples, something like a cox or russet, as long as it had plenty of sugar added, caramelised, mmm
