On the official shite.

New manager announcement in the "very near future"

Can't reveal who the "new investor" is and this may take some time to complete.

Nothing about Dewsnip

Clearly he is struggling to find a new manager or he wouldn't have felt the need to make a statement today. So it doesn't look like it's going to be SS. Reading between the lines, I think it's going to be another lower league or unproven Coach who can work on a limited budget.

As for the "new investor" I think more and more people think he doesn't exist-why alse does his identity need to be such a secret?

All in all, I think we are in for a very bumpy ride.

The Official site also carries an advert for a new lead for the medical team-has SH finally realised we shouldn't have most of the first team out injured at the same time?

Tbf only the gullible and terminally deluded ever thought this ‘investment’ was actually happening. Re the manger, I would rather stick with Nance and Edward’s than another shite head coach from crap data analytics

Wayne Rooney was indeed the "investor"
Sadly thats been pulled and Hallett has to return to comments of the past that this will take time now

Would prefer to keep the current two in the caretaker position till seasons end

I'm inclined to agree, better to wait and choose wisely.

when i read his statement it was then i accepted reality that no manager/head coach worth their salt was going to come here ie Wagner, Mowbray, A Schumacher return even that Walsall guy Sadler opted to stay with them over talking to us.  I like to think we had some interest in Bloomfield at then Wycombe but i don't think we did.

It was made so public in that statement that the team bottom of the league won't have that much in terms of funds for transfers which would be a buzzkill for anyone being tempted. As we wanted a head coach not a manager cause why not try a third time and see if anything changes as si mentioned that line many times whoever they hired would be another out of the blue hiring no one has heard off and go on a pr campaign to make out he was the second coming of jurgen klopp again which it turned out to be just that in eMineM he would have to eventually report to a higher up at some point enforcing the will of the board which they will replace dewsnip is some capacity to do this. eMineM is a hiring we all hope proves to a good one he simply can't be anything but or its the hiring that will end Halletts time here if it goes wrong cause the fans are going to want change at the top and someone who will appoint someone good as manager and not rely on data based analysis over reality.

As for the investor line i'll believe it when i see it no one worth their salt also will just hand over their money in the millions and not want to own a stake in the club which is my guess why si is struggling to get one over the line or indeed another group he ends up buying out just as quick as they hand over the money.
I like to think we will have someone buying into the club prepared to invest millions but i dont see it happening till after this window closes.

Plus to end the line about rooney not being hired for his name was a lie, how can it not be a lie his track record as a coach alone wouldn't have gotten him an interview here the date wouldn't have supported one had he not been the famous and record setting  player he was for especially for Man UTD and England... he was a nice guy here and towards fans but he is no head coach youth maybe but definitely to naive for first team football.

More hallett guff.

On the manager appointment: "Maybe Schuey would've been the safe choice, but we're risk-taking club, and you have to take risks in order to do well on a limited budget."

Bollocks hallett! The "safe choice" clearly turned us down when he learned there is no budget! "Limited budget" confirms there is no investor. Not that anyone ever actually believed there was. Does he think we are stupid?

i removed the link so i could quote tweet you freathy not been back for longer than a week yet

WTF!!!! risk taking club Laughing Laughing Laughing.... we are anything but! we hired two head coaches that bombed that no other club would have hired and now we are praying that their 3rd random choice for head coach they had left to hire after one by one others either pulled out of the running or wasn't interested is a success and as he's already mentioned his family are remaining in Austria and won't be coming to plymouth england i think it's safe to assume he's not planning on being here for the 3.5 years on his contract or beyond that whether he is a success or not he'll be gone.

Simon's comments prove he has no investor coming anytime soon or if there is one its coming after the window closes and by then it maybe too late to impact our chances of staying up.

I'll say it again this hiring will be Hallett's Waterloo if it fails and those comments will comeback to haunt him and the fans will turn on him.
