I really hope you're right. But there is something seemingly significant stopping hallett from acting. Any normal club would have sacked Rooney weeks ago. In fact no other club would have appointed him in the first place based on his record. This makes me think hallett will do nothing.

He has to sack or back him, radio silence is not the answer.
