| Watched boros highlights of their last game there striker Latty Lath his on fire ! He’s this seasons Morgan Whittaker for Boro Azaz has been the reason he was different class running the show in midfield for em and some of the balls he played in and layed on for Lath were unbelievable no wonder the lads banging in a hat full this season I can see this coming back to bite Hallett in the arse i don’t believe for one bit believe they couldn’t afford his wages bollox that’s a cop out he would have been cheap at half the price he could possibly keep us out this shit were in plus another thing halletts gunna regret also by not signing Morgan Whittaker price has dropped like a stone and possibly only worth half of what he’s worth now as offers and talk seems to have dried up to how good he his in my opinion Azaz made him look a better player cos soon as he left Whittakers form nosedived completely if you noticed it ….us 0 Boro3 (Lath 2 Azaz) |

| As ever, our badly coached L2/National League standard team doesn't stand a chance against Championship quality. Need to approach this game as if we're a L2 team playing Boro in the FA Cup. Even piss poor L2 teams pull of a giant killing every now and again but we don't seem capable of that.
Another heavy loss.

| You could also add Hardie to the players badly affected by the departure of Azaz and the failure to sign an adequate replacement. Anyway, the Smoggies do score plenty of goals but are prone to the odd lapse so i'll go for a surprise draw.
2-2

| Rooney says he has intensified the players training this week ahead of the busy Christmas schedule.
I think we'll see the result on Saturday as the players tire in the second half as Boro romp to a 4-1 win. |

| It will be a big ask, Argyle to scrape a 1 - 1 draw. _______________________________________ COYG!

| Going into this one 24th in the table with Portsmouth winning and Hull drawing. We won't get out the bottom 3 for the rest of this season. |

| "Improved performance" but we shipped three goals, lost three more players to injury (so much for the extra training) and are bottom!
3 out of the next 4 games are away-will we have more than one strikers for them?
Transfer window opens soon, but however much cash we wave about who wants to join a club that's odds on for the drop?
Anyway our data driven recruitment team is probably targetting signings from the Albanian second division.
Sack Rooney, Hallett out etc.etc but tbh I think it's all over now and has been since the clueless Chairman hired the clueless manager.
Edited to add: the alleged "new investor" is probably the guy who has just flogged Everton after f*cking them up over several years! |

| We didn't lose but also never looked like winning. Barely celebrated Bundu's goal as it felt almost inevitable boro would score again. In fact I was sure they would go on to get all 3 points after they did inevitably get their third. Also three more long term injuries to add to the list, including two strikers FFS. Does Argo do any fitness training / have any physios at all?? We won't be seeing Hardie again this season that's for sure. Obafemi looks like he will be out at least until January sometime at the earliest. From what I saw today, relegation is confirmed.
HALLETT OUT ROONEY OUT

| Proverbial game of two halves really-Argyle were totally dominant in the first with Randell playing like Platini and the Moose ripping Boro a new one from the passes he was providing-only criticism was that Argyle should have been out of sight on chances created rather than having to defend a slender 1-0 which came from Gibson after a well worked move involving Hajj and Galloway.2 big appeals for penalties-first one never in a million years, second one, talking to a Boro fan at the station after who said it was a definite pen but c'est la vie. Second half was a different story with Boro much more potent although Argyle did improve their crossing and finishing with Gyabi and Bundu converting excellent crosses from Bundu and Ogbeta. Has to be said that there was both an element of fortune but also self harm about the Boro goals-deflected shot for the first, rebound from Grimshaw going straight to their man for the second. Afraid Bali has to take responsibility for the last equaliser-needlessly lost the ball from which a corner resulted-swung in by Azaz, headed across the box for the guy who Bali should have been marking to convert.
Cracking game but not really a good outcome-some of the attacking play was scintillating at times but the disgraceful goals against record certainly wasn't improved and the injuries mount up although it's news to me that a gashed shin and a knock on the knee can be attributed to extra training. All in all a very mixed sort of afternoon. |

| Agree with skinny, although I came away disappointed and a little frustrated at our inability to hold on to a lead, it has to be said that the last 2 performances against 2 top 6 teams have been encouraging considering what came before. I'm just not sure we can sustain so many injuries in an already relatively weak championship squad, the Christmas/new year period is brutal, we need our better players back sharpish or significant strengthening in the January window ... stop sniggering at the back. |

| There will need to strengthening in January but it won't be much. January is a difficult window to recruit. One or maybe two untested young loanees from Premier League clubs is probably the most we can expect. But even then, with relegation almost a certainty now, it will be difficult to persuade clubs to send their youngsters here. Hallett won't be putting up the type of ££ it would take to bring in a permanent signing that would make any real difference to the team. |
