Why did SH go for a 16k capacity stadium in the first place? Even an extra 2k on capacity would have generated over £1 million a season.

Hopefully the new investment (I'll believe it when I see it) isn't dependent on Rooney still being in charge or PAFC avoiding the drop.

Hallett has been saying for ages Argo are ‘close’ to securing investment and I doubt this latest news is actually anything new. The timing of this ‘news’ is a tad suspicious and if we weren’t getting mullered every week I doubt hallett would have even mentioned it. This was just for the fans forum audience to divert them from talking about our diabolical form and doubt we’ll hear anything more on this.

With been down this road before but the cynical old bastard that iam think it’s just been put out there to try and quell the unrest in the fanbase you watch suddenly there say it the deal went Pair shaped funny enough it will coincide with the January window closing …one thing hallett didnt say weather he would still invest in the team come January either way though did he

We will see then won't we. I'll believe it when I see it. If the 'investment' was purely for infrastructure then I would be more inclined to believe it. Argyle Green investors bailed out because Hallett's focus was more on infrastructure and at odds with what they wanted.

As for constantly slagging off PAFC, can you name any other football Club that appoints a Manager with bugger all relevant experience then when he fails replaces him with one with an even worse record?
