| ....has got to go! Absolutely dire tonight. No way should a team with the players England have got be anywhere near that bad! Could have been Ian Foster in the dugout FFS. |

| The only thing they done was to push there wing backs higher up second half Southgate didn’t have a clue how to combat it either to the point they nearly collapsed second half cos of it…sooner his gone the better |

Appalling wasn't it ... the Germans must be laughing up their sleeves. |

| Yep a new low last night. Passing it backwards and sideways, misplaced passes all over the place, no urgency and no pressing. Denmark by far the better team. Just go Southgate. Get Warnock in. |

Bellingham has been totally anonymous in the last couple of games. England only really started pressing when Palmer and Gordon came on. Joining Scotland on the beach on Sunday for sure. Southgate out |

Southgate out Looks like his luck in getting favourable paths could be continuing, Georgia beating Portugal means that England play Slovakia next. Not taking it for granted of course but must be easier than Holland. |

Kane needs to be tested for drugs going by his comments about fans at home enjoying the game! _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! | England prevailing can't paper over the cracks. A flash of individual brilliance from Bellingham but still yet another woeful England performance. The Swiss are a completely proposition to Slovakia. |

| Thought England were better today but i wish he'd be a bit more pro active with his subs like the Swiss manager was. Both sets of changes altered the course of the game in either direction, hope he gets it right in the semi. Credit for having the character to fight back once again and undoubtedly the best set of penalties ever from an England team. |

| England awful again for long spells and there was a certain feeling of inevitability about going behind yet again. But again England dug deep and got the goal back with that cracking Saka strike. Pens were thankfully executed in a very un-England like manner.
Think Netherlands will be way too good. |

| Ex Greasy 'un to the rescue. Southgate at last made a couple of pro active subs and voila! Great turn and shot to be fair, seem to remember him scoring like that at HP. Comfortably England's best performance of the tournament and they deserved to win, dominated the first half before the dutch flooded the midfield and one thing you can't fault is their desire and character to keep going to the end. Penalty was soft to say the least but maybe poetic justice for Koeman not being sent off in that world cup qualifier, so feck 'em. Interesting game against the impressive Spaniards now, would make them favourites tbh but you never know. |

| Better team won. England were shocking in the second half until he finally brought the subs on for the struggling Kane and equally bad after Spain brought their subs on. Only real chance was the head tennis bit from a corner near the end but it would really have been an injustice-don't like Spain but they've been the best team out there by a country mile imho. Interesting to see if Southgate stays on now-many would say that his reactive management is holding England back, i guess the only way that would be proven is if a manager with a more attacking reputation is brought in.60 years of hurt at least in the meantime. |

Better team certainly did win as they seemed to outnumber England when attacking and again when in defence. Kane brought little to England's attack and should have been replaced at half-time by the more mobile Ollie Watkins. I would liked to have seen more of Chelsea's Cole Palmer who is definitely one for the future. |
