The top pitch should be finished with the grass seed going on today. The bottom pitch has been brought up to the top pitch standard with drainage and a sprinkler system installed. grass on it is already being cut.

Talking to two young groundmen today, that the top pitch is up to the standard of the main pitch after this week upgrade.

The groundmen will take back the main pitch on Monday. They will put a new high level surface on with new drainage, sprinkler system and reinforce the Devonport corner where the warm up wears that area out.

the corner between the devonport end and the mayflower has gone i noticed today :O could it be that somethings in the pipeline to finally build the corners? or will we just have a massive gaping whole covered by tarp for the next few years?

Full steam ahead and now a step back. These Plymouth scum as been at it again, ripping up the new sprinkler from new sprinkler system on the top training pitch out of the ground,

News tonight

The sand out side is for the final top dressing of the training ground and what left will be the final dressing for main pitch when the grass comes through. Cracking on preparing around the pitch for the new astro turf. The electronics advertising boards are here ready to be put up but only on three sides.

Pitch was finish on friday, all seeded, just hope the weather plays ball. It will take another two weeks for the electronics cables for the advertising boardss to be run in new ducking then the new astro turf can be laid.

The upgrade to the pitch suppose to take 60 games a season.

Bottom training pitch set up for the return of the team to start training tomorrow.
