Sad to hear he passed away today aged 88. He set the standard of how to host a chat show that sadly hasn't been bettered or even meet in recent years. Pity the BBC refused to acknowledge his most famous guest that was before my time but still 40 odd years on the old episodes he/she was on was always in the best possible taste.

Loved the Billy Connelly interviews and the Rod Hull and Emu one.

RIP Parky.
