Great news!  Really didn't think he'd sign.  I think Scarr (hopefully), Houghton and Wilson will all sign but no chance Ennis will.

same here I’d have thought he would be the first one through the slips well it is summer thought I’d use a cricketing term! But hopefully he can step up to championship level will see the one for me Is Ennis they need to tie him down Asap

Let’s be fair all the chatter about Hardie has been conjecture like it usually is in the close season.
Ennis next.

Seems Ennis has signed for Blackburn

Early days in the circus of the close season, but your top scorer re-signing, when he clearly would have had options, is a pretty big positive. If Ennis were to go, and we got Whittaker back, I’d take that.

I see Clarke Harris has been transfer listed, I wonder if we’re interested, although he went missing against Wednesday in that play off debacle

Not good news that Argyle are unable to compete with a club with lower average gates last season and who have not been in receipt of any parachute payments in recent times. May be a bit of a punt on Blackburn's part bearing in mind his less than stellar injury record but the guy certainly has the quality for the step up and Argyle are going to need to recruit well to make up for his departure. Big blow imho.

Long gone are the days when average attendance (and consequently gate revenue) was the principal factor in a clubs overall budget. Certainly at Championship level.

Maybe we were competitive and he just wanted to move back up north.

they shifted a few big earners off their books in bradley Dack and that diaz fella so they got money to offer Ennis more than we did which im sure we offered him more than he was on but Blackburn has the pull and will be in the hunt next season so perhaps thats why ennis wanted to go there.

You can bet your bottom dollar that if Argyle struggle next season and gates start to drop then the "apathetic janner" mantra will be one of the prime reasons given as to why the club are not competitive at championship level

If it did, it wouldn’t hold too much sway though, given that about 75% of the ground is already sold out to season ticket holders. So not a huge amount of space for any meaningful drop off.
