| Poor maid died today, took me back to my younger days perving over her heaving cleavage in the “Carry On” films, also Liz Fraser in her underwear with her suspenders, happy days! RIP Sylvia. |

Expresso Bongo was on TV a few months ago Mr G - although I am indeed knocking on a bit. As an aside, Sylvia found herself teaming up once again with Sir Anthony Quayle when they had made the superb 'Ice Cold in Alex' the previous year. It might be of interest to note that Quayle played a German spy disguised as a South African army captain who sloped off over the sand dunes for a dump while taking his radio to keep Herr Rommel up to date of their progress. Further more I would add that during World War 2 Major Quayle was indeed a SOE spy operating in Albania doing a job very much the same as the one he played in The Guns of Navarone. |
