A fantastic right back by all accounts, only 2 of the 66 squad remain with us, Charlton B and Jeff Hurst.

One of the more unsung players in the 1966 team but did a very solid job for many years for Fulham and England. Wanted to swap shirts with one of the Argies after a rather acrimonious quarter final but Alf stopped him and did his bit to help Anglo-Argie relationships by calling them animals.
Believe George's nephew Ben Cohen was an England international rugby player
RIP George

Sad news - RIP. Quite sobering to think that the 1966 final will even soon be gone from living memory!
