Tributes have been paid for former Plymouth Argyle player Neil Hague who has died at the age of 72. Hague played 113 times for Argyle, scoring 17 goals, between 1971 and 1974.
He was mostly a defender, but his versatility meant he played all over the field during his tenure at Argyle, and indeed in his whole career. He was voted as Argyle’s Player of the Year in 1972/73, and would go on to play for Bournemouth, Huddersfield Town and Darlington, before finishing his career in America
Argyle are saddened to hear the news of the passing of former player Adrian Thorne, aged 84.
A winger with a keen eye for goal, Adrian scored 44 times in 84 matches for his hometown club, Brighton and Hove Albion, before joining the Greens for £8,000 in 1961.
