Camara runs at goal, shoots, goalie parries , Camara picks it up again pin point pass to Hardie who places it perfectly to send Argyle up to fifth with a cushion over Wednesday, personally I'd sell him, makes perfect sense. Lol.

Bit nervy at the end but deserved the win, we were the better side throughout. Hardie again followed great work from Pan, Pompey will say they made one mistake but it was our press that caused it.
Solid at the back again, can't remember them having a shot on target.
Up to 5th still with a game in hand.

Excellent team effort, can't think of anyone who had a duff game tonight, gotta hand it to Schuey for the game plan.

Great result but these last ten minutes plus massive amounts of injury time get a feck sight worse as you get older, couldn't get a fag paper between the cheeks of my arse when they were camping in the Argyle box come the end. A fair bit of that added time was caused by the delay when some twat threw a flare after Argyle scored-there could have been a fairly serious incident near me soon after when someone threw a banger in a plastic cup down the aisle which exploded-bloke behind me had a bit of a cut leg, utterly moronic thing to do. Another commendably resilient performance tonight, some top defending from the centre backs-as PP said, they didn't have anything on target and probably most heart stopping moment was when Argyle nearly screwed up the passing in the penalty area lark, Cooper just about managed to retrieve it. Pompey possibly had more possession and attempts but Argyle worked their keeper [whose handling was suspect the odd time or two] more and were worthy winners imho. Randell nearly capped the evening with a Pele/Beckham like effort from way out which drifted just wide but no matter, another terrific result and four clean sheets in a row-bring on the Stanley, who got a pretty good result tonight which indicates that it won't be easy on Saturday.

what a win we are massive...
pity those dickheads threw flares on the pitch when we scored as thats going to be another bring PA announcement to add to the list of bs the club insists on repeating each game. Cant find any fault with any of our players on the pitch tonight they all did what they needed to do but i will say Sessegnon what breath of fresh air he is on the wing exactly what you'd want a wingback to do run, cross and gets stuck in. He got himself booked for reacting to a harsh call but im sure schuey will be having a word with him not to let his emotions get the better of him especially in games like this one.
that infamous pompey fan john pfc westwood i truly dont understand why he bothers travelling the country spending all that money watching pompey when he misses half the game due to being the lobby.
overall very happy with that win it sets us up nicely for the final run of games especially as we got some fellow playoff contenders to play aswell.

Games against Pompey just seem to always mean more. Atmosphere when we scored was way beyond any other home goal this season. Fully deserved win against a team bang in form, who we didn’t let settle into the free-scoring pattern they’ve had of late. Pan was superb and Jephcott covered a huge amount of ground chasing everything down. Great to see. To create 20 goal attempts against a decent Pompey side really does bode well. Very few teams will live with us at Home Park on that form.
Now watch us choke on Saturday v Accy.
Love beating Pompey more than any other team. Cnuts.

Absolutely anyone who says it's just another game doesn't get Argyle. Anything less than playoffs would be a disappointment now this is a decent team. I was half expecting us to choke as it was one of those season defining moments and we came up trump's, rrroooaarrr.

Heart sank when they announced 6 mins Must have been for the smoke bombs.
Apparently the pompey lot were throwing seats at us too.
Didn't see it.
Saw that cnut with the bell giving it large as we were leaving.
Only heard it 20 mins into the game shouldn't have let him in for showing up late.
He can insert the pissing thing up his arse.
Would like to see us move the ball quicker And not just sideways or backwards.
But whatever Schumacher is telling them is working.
Pompey weren't that great, Would have thought near the end they would cause us more problems.
The highlights don't so justice to the noise when the goal went in.
Guess now we had this game be back to 12 k and quiet the next couple of games.

Not the best performance imo opinion but we got the all important result. Huge swathes of the stadium to be netted off due to flare incident, capacity voluntarily reduced to 8,437 by argyle hierarchy.

6 mins injury time, how?
Restarting from the goal took a while after the flare incident, a couple of injuries and I suppose time wasting. It was good to see something approaching an atmosphere with the Zoo open, I suspect there'll be an enquiry afterwards, it will be closed and 8 blocks segregation will be in force for the visit of, checks notes, Accrington Stanley.
The officials were pretty poor I felt, Pompey got the worst of it as I thought Cooper got away with one there.
Nervy game, some of the Argyle execution was a bit sloppy and Portsmouth certainly controlled the midlfield better albeit with no cutting edge up front.
Mark Hughes seems to have done wonders with the defence particular at corners, they still get done in the air too much.
Danny Mayor seems to be cutting out the show pony stuff and is even pitching in with the press! He won't win many MOTM awards and he really ought to be scoring more goals but we've won the last 5 in a row with him playing.
Sessegnon at Left WING back really didn't work. Would rather have seen Edwards there and he was a period in the first half
Game management has also improved massively since the capitulations at Lincoln and Fleetwood.
