Didn't need to kick out second gear. We need to work on corners
Otherwise fresh for Tuesday night

As has been said, regulation win against another bottom feeder nothing club....crucial if we are to have any chance of sneaking a top 6 spot.
No other team has as tough a run-in as us. Six of our last 7 games are against Ipswich, Oxford, Wycombe, Sunderland, Wigan and MK Dons. Plus we have Bolton and Pompey to play aswell.
It will be a great achievement to hit the top 6 after negotiating all of that.
Need to smash our hoo-doo against the better clubs in this league.

Rather a low key affair, not a great game and a flattish sort of atmosphere. Two headed goals for Argyle sealed it after a territorially dominant performance in the first half, the other highlight was a crashing volley from Edwards which brought a top save from the goalkeeper. Second half was a bit laboured and ponderous, Morecambe had the better chances and worked Cooper more than Argyle did their keeper, one goal could have made it squeaky arse time but i guess it was a comfortable win in the end and a welcome return to winning ways. Need to follow it up on Tuesday night now.

dull atmosphere at the game, solid 2-0 win nice to see del bhey hasnt changed his way of leaving it till injury time to bring on subs while his side is losing. Happy with the pressing we put on still not proficient with the final product as we could have won by more if we had a killer edge. Cooper played well when called apon. Jephcott is a disgrace to be so unfit he cant last more than 60 minutes on the pitch at his age without looking shagged and he doesnt even run so how does he get so gassed!!!! I want to see Garrick and Hardie lead the line. While some where questioning signing Lewis earlier this week im beginning to ask what was the point in the other 2 January signings when they arent playing either and mainly due to Schuey making the same subs every game 2 strikers and a midfielder.
I have to see the second goal again because from where i was sat i dont believe Hardie scored it and if he did he got very little on it for a shot going in, Thought it was poetic that the last remaining player on the pitch from the Del Bhey era scored against him (Grant)
overall good solid win the clean sheet is a much needed bonus to help improve our GD and we stopped the losing streak. Onwards to Tuesday night.

BTW-has it been banned for referees to use common sense when it comes to the advantage rule?

what does he see that no one else does when he watches games? lol good ole deluded del.
Morecambe where never in any danger of winning today despite their chances mainly from long balls which bar two that looked dangerous they where dealt with well and other than that they didnt do alot the defence for once was on top form. Not to say Morecambe were poor when i say they didnt do alot they just werent interested in going into a new gear to try and change things which is a del bhey trademark when his teams go behind as we all know to well. i actually think they blew anychance they had however slim when they took their number 9 off as he was the one creating and causing the problems, with that said we where in control of the game and won comfortably.
still del will have to pull of a miracle to keep them up

Against Rotherham we played well and lost, yesterday we were pretty average and won, Bleddy football does your head in at times

But when you look at the standard of opposition in both matches, the outcomes were hardly surprising, shorely.

Not really, against Rotherham we probably had more clear cut chances than against Morecambe, last week our strikers ballsed it up and yesterday Hardie was grateful he didn’t have a hair cut on Friday !
