Big shock that, no age at all. Liked him as a player even though he was an Aussie, and he was a excellent commentator as well.

RIP Warney

Shocking-Rod Marsh, who i think played a big role in Warne's rise to stardom, departed as well. Best spin bowler of my time in following cricket, different class to Murali and anyone else imho. Saw him play once at Hampshire's old ground in Southampton, fantastic to watch and a great interaction with the crowd. So sad, RIP Shane.

he was the greatest bowler imo and not only for the revolution of spin bowling he ushered in if anyone hasnt seen the Gatting ball watch how he defied physics with his delivery is truly magical . Sad loss to cricket and at 52 thats no age at all. RIP

Reading yesterday that Warne was on a 14 day liquid only detox, he had been suffering from sweats and a tight chest as well. All a bit mental shorely sportsmen today are informed about the warning signs of a heart attack ffs! There seem to be many many people making themselves I'll in the name of health these days.
