| Stevie G being strongly tipped to take over at Aston Villa.
Will this be good for PAFC with the possibility of some loan signings?
Or bad if he hires a pal or two for his backroom staff?

| if hes smart he'd stay away from villa and stay with rangers for another season or two and continue learning the trade. If he goes to Villa he will only end up getting sacked for not winning a top ten position and left on the scrap heap and a million miles away from his dream job at Liverpool.
Smith was treated very harshly by villa i feel deserved a bit of time given all he did during his time there.
but in answer to your question i dont think it will make much difference in truth certain not january wise as bar one or two additions we dont need to go mad bringing in new blood or letting anyone go.
Also that guy he loaned us when Ryan took over whos name i forgotten wasnt exactly a talent was he lol |

| I have to admit I didn’t see Grovehill’s post as us possibly getting some loan players but maybe Lowe going to Villa as one of his staff. If that was the question then no I don’t think RL would give up being the boss even if it is only as the manager of Argyle. _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! | got to say there would be next to no chance Ryan would leave to be a coach even in the premiership not while hes both a manager and his stock is continuing to rise.

Will Stevie G live in Birmingham? i'm not sure Villa give a toss where he lives. Unlike certain brain dead so-called fans of Argyle. |

| Aston Villa name Rangers boss as new manager. Gerrard took his first steps in senior management with Scottish Premiership side Rangers in 2018, and leaves with them four points clear of rivals Celtic at the top of the table. BBC Sport Scotland understands Villa have paid Rangers £4.5m in compensation
The Liverpool legend has signed a three-and-a-half year deal at Villa Park. |
