Word going around at Sheffield Wednesday is they would love Ryan Lowe at Hillsborough, I'm worried rumours tend to gather momentum

i would love a handjob of rachel stevens but we dont we dont always get what we want in life.

When Ryan leaves which lets face it he will one day and that's fine so long as he goes about it in the right way and the club gets a good compo deal and protects its assets from being raided by ryan in quick succession till at least a new manager is in place, it will be for a club in a higher division and matching ambitions and sheff wed dont have either.

If a big club came in who knows what might happen, Ryan Lowe still has to deliver here before any poaching might occur.

Sheff Wed have dire financial problems and are teetering on the edge of administration is also a rumour.

PS my sig is from last season when we are ultra-shite under Lowe.

When you are doing well other clubs will be sniffing around your players/management, rocket science it ain't. Question is, can they be lured away? With Argyle that's always been a yes.

Lowe hasn’t won anything yet with us, no doubt if we gain promotion this season some of the so called bigger clubs will come sniffing around, that’s football.

I have every confidence Lowe would fcuk off at the drop of a hat if a northern job came up that he fancied. I think it would have to be a club with half decent financial clout though, as by all accounts Hallett gave him a pretty lucrative contract here.

It's obvious Lowe would be a lure for other clubs even without another promotion, he is highly thought of in the game and has us top of the league with a very small budget compared to many teams in this league. Our best hope is that he takes us up this season before he gets poached if he does go to a bigger club you don't have to be mystic Meg to know Hardie and co would probably follow him. We've seen it all before sadly.

I think it would take quite a lot for Lowe to leave Argyle.

By all accounts he likes living in Plymouth and enjoys the area. He has a playing squad he seem genuinely proud of.  He has a club that is rapidly reshaping its academy. An academy that has produced several first team players of late... He has a director of football that he admires, and believes in.  He has the coaching staff that he wants.  He has a Chairman that he gets on well with, and who is supportive.  He has a relatively large fan base that at the moment, almost to a man, fully support him. The facilities (including training) are now generally good and still being improved. I imagine his salary is reasonably generous?

What is there for him not to like?  It will take something special to attract him away...

Surprised the bedwetters haven't linked Lowe with the spurs job yet... they seem to link him to every other job.

This has been doing the rounds of the Sheffield Wednesday message boards pretty much since we schooled them a few weeks back. Mainly because he's an ex-Wednesdayite who's doing pretty well.

He not mention in this nine name list

The nine early candidates to become next Hartlepool United manager - including former Charlton Athletic, Sunderland and Tranmere Rovers managers
Who is in line to replace Dave Challinor as Hartlepool United manager?

Nah... What's comedy gold is seeing Lowe stuff all your personal negativity about him, and data analytics, straight back down your throat...

I think we should all stop bitching and just enjoy the clubs current purple patch and Lowe's tenure while we can. I'm not his biggest fan by any means, but, like others, I'm thoroughly enjoying the current ride.

Being an Argo fan over the decades, you/I know very well it all turns to rat shit in an inevitable instant.

Live for the moment. Not the might be, should be, could be, might have, should have.

I'm in the Royal Oak if you want to pop-in and argue the toss. I'll fight you on the village green if I have to. drunken

he will be linked to other jobs seeing as we are doing alot better than we all though and that will only get more frequent if we are still in this position when we are in the business end of the season so its nothing out of the ordinary and to be expected.
But i say again when he does decided to leave and that day will come hopefully not too soon i can only see him leaving for a club in a higher league and has the funds and ambition to match his plans and sheff wed dont have that atm.

Exactly - like when are pony burgers back on the menu at the Royal Oak. There should be plenty of fresh meat after the recent Dartmoor annual pony drift. pig

Sure as eggs are eggs if Lowe did go mid season all the usual faces would say let him go no one is bigger than the club, plenty more fish in the sea, no point hanging onto someone who doesn't want to be here etc, etc, swiftly followed by a complete implosion on the pitch dwindling crowds and all the team passing back off up north, like POI says enjoy it whilst it lasts.

I'm sure the wet ones will link him with another job.

No idea why support a club you want to fail.

Why not jog on up the road to Sid James park or the Turks
