| Hanging on for grim death. Burton by far the better team now. A point would be a very good result. |

| Like last season with the standard second half complete collapse. Extremely lucky today. |

| Squeaky bum time towards the end but hey, sitting on top of the table and eleven game unbeaten run and anther good home crowd. Decent owner and an excellent manager with a decent squad at Home Park. Here and now all good. |

Keep trolling. One "assist" in a loose sense doesnt remotely make up for the two shocking goals he recently conceded Coopers name was ringing out around the stadium thats why I said it. What made you think it was aimed at you? Good win and hilarious reading the third page of thread. |

| Thoroughly deserved win despite taking their collective feet off the gas second half, on the basis of a commanding first half performance when we looked in a different league to Burton.
They changed it second half and stopped us playing a bit, but you just felt that there was another gear today if they needed it. Bit of huffing and puffing in our area at times but never really felt we were going to get anything other than a win.
Hardie ran the channels well today and showed he's more than just a goal scorer, Broom was everywhere and deserved his goal, and Houghton had another effective game. Great throw from Cooper for the second goal.
Pan was a little out of sorts today (he does seem to play better away) and it was good to see Mayor back. Back 3 looked strong again, don't remember Cooper having to make too many saves.
3 points and top of the league. Haven't said that for a while. |

| Good win, second half Burton changed it a bit but we should have wrapped it up in the first half, Agard had a fairly decent game when you consider he’s been out of the game for nearly 2 years, Garrick did ok but tailed off in the second half, Mayor was just Mayor, good assist from Cooper but do wonder if he should have done better with their goal, but I don’t agree we were hanging on, we kept at it but if we can pull of a win when we’re a bit iffy against a team who before today’s game were only 4pts behind us then that’s a good result, think I’ll enjoy being top of the league for a week. |

| good first half from the lads we were very lively took our goals well very happy to see Broom finally get his goal. I was impressed with how lively Garrick was but he started to lag in the second half and how Agard battled up front i think once he gets some more game time he will be a very useful striker for us especially if we need muscle upfront. Needs to work on his targeting though. Hardie is brimming with confidence and was very lively upfront shame he didn't get a goal. Second half we went to sleep and allowed Burton to get back into the game this is becoming an issue for the club where we just switch off and not work hard to see games out without making some errors. Never the less we did enough to see the game out and go top of the league |

| Very good result considering we were missing two important players.
Lowe needs to keep Mayor on the bench for a while-there's a lot more variety to the way we build attacks when he's not playing. |

| Superb performance first half, less so second but the goal aside Burton never really threatened too much-never squeaky arse time to any degree. Grant is developing into a serious professional footballer a la Hourihane not so long ago, hopefully his further development will be with Argyle for a few years longer. Great to see two midfielders getting the goals, that will need to be the case throughout the rest of the season if Argyle are to maintain a consistent challenge. Thought Agard did enough to show that he could be an asset with a few more games, quite clever at shielding the ball and getting free kicks, could have had a couple of goals and Hardie was a threat all afternoon with his pace. Kudos to Cooper for that throw, nearly worked earlier and good to see Argyle can mix it when circumstances are right. Top of the league at this stage wouldn't have been foreseen by many so well done to the players and management. |

Broom is too good to drop atm as is Camara and you cant take out Houghton as Mayor isnt a defensive player so atm i cant see him breaking into that starting 11 so he will have to earn it back which im sure he will do eventually. |
