Sheffield Wednesday have sold out of their Tickets

The Owls’ trip to Plymouth on Saturday 11 September is sold out for Wednesdayites.
We received an allocation of 1,700 tickets for the League One clash, all of which have been snapped up.

The Home Park contest is all-ticket and Wednesday will not be receiving a further allocation.

blocks 21, 22 and 23 holds 609  each * 3 = 1,827, so it will be 1 empty block between fans

Our average home gate with out away supporters is 10,300  + 1700 (SW fans) = 12,000. I think 14500 we been given four extra blocks from any other home games

What is the capacity at Home Park now, with the Upper Mayflower reduced?

One thing that’s always puzzled me is whenever Argyle ‘sell out’ and away fans sell full allocation....even allowing for 500ish unused seats between home and away fans, the attendance is always well below (usually a couple thousand) our official capacity.

Conversely in the the days of Dan the Bastard and Staplewallet there was many a time (not when we were shite for most of Dans time Tbf) when everybody at the ground was saying "wow" there must be X amount of fans here yet the official figures were two or three k lower.

Ordered my ticket today, seemed to be quite a lot of available seats dotted around. Plenty of time left i suppose,12-13000 would be my estimate. Looking forward to my first visit of the season-should be a good atmos and hopefully a good game.
