Argyle defender James Wilson has been handed a three-match suspension following an FA independent Regulatory Commission hearing on Friday afternoon.

The central defender was adjudged to have breached the FA’s Rule E1.1 during an incident early in Tuesday night’s Sky Bet League One tie against Cambridge United at Home Park.

The club will make no further comment.

To be honest when i saw this incident where he lashed out off thhe ball like he did that started the ruckus i was surprised he wasnt sent off. But the fact he has had that card changed to a red after the event does shock me a little
