| My 2nd oldest lad is returning from Nottingham Uni....he's got some dispensation to travel back to here (Gawd knows how I wont ask) but he and his friends actually saw the article on GMB this morning about farmers desperate for labour to pick fruit because of loss of most of the Eastern Europeans
Any idea of an agency or direct contact that they can try ?? Theres 4 of them wanting to do it if they can ?? |

| I think it's more Cabbages and Caulis this time of year until the strawberries start. A lot of it goes on from Weighbridge down to Penzance. I'd look for a horticultural trade magazine or web page. |

| All those in full time education who are currently sat on their backsides doing nothing should be pressed into service. |

He was working for Screwfix 16 hours weekly (I think it was) plus delivery for Indian takeaway before He only does 11 hours a week at Uni or did lol Next year its just 9 hours weekly ! Combining the standard Uni Grant they all get plus a special financial bursary award he got for 3 years and adding screwfix plus takeaway he was on in excess of £510 a week. Just unreal ! |

In case you hadn’t noticed the country is currently on lockdown with many workers being furloughed. What are you talking Enforced labour? |

Hugh's problem after years of getting brainwashed is that he genuinely thinks only EU citizens are willing or able to pick veg. |
