Jethro to retire

Probably learnt that the train does in fact stop in Camborne on Tuesdays and his whole act is now redundant.

I've spent sevarel evenings being entertained by Jethro and he was actually very good. Trouble is with any comedian if you've seen them more than six times you will recognise some of the jokes. I saw him at the Wharf last year and it was starting to look and sound more than bit tired and let's face it he's no spring chicken. Anyway he's a proper gent and will always have a crack when you see him out and about I hope he enjoys his retirement he's earned it.

First saw him in 1980 in the Glen at Glenholt when he was compering a stag night
His opening line as he come out....

"Right we've got some lovely girls for you tonight complete with their very hairy fannies"

Christ I was hooked that night....very funny even back then. He must have only been 32 at the time

never found him funny to be honest.
