a bad day for England. Boris Johnson is PM and we're current 43/7 against a side playing its first test ever.

Finely balanced match is this. England need to try and build up a good lead, if Stokes and Burns can stay in as long as they can, could be an interesting day ?

Bit of a pre lunch wobble 3 wi jets lost for 4 runs. Woakes and Broad now in steering England to a lead of 70. Broad was a decent batsman a few years ago hard to think he got 169 against Pakistan 2010, both should be good for 30 or so.

A lead of 100 would be nice, I wouldn’t fancy playing Lyons on day 5

Attempted Slog sweep from Anderson caught at mid on, ends the innings. Tea taken with England holding a lead of 90. Game nicely poised, England slightly ahead thanks a sterling effort from the tail, but Australia by no means out of it.

I don’t think Anderson is going to bowl second innings, he isn’t running very well.

Well, that was a turn around and a half after the 1st innings collapse, superb batting from Stokes. They will certainly be dancing in the streets of Leeds tonight - and elsewhere no doubt 😀👍
