That other place

I changed jobs recently and have been able to look on that other Argyle related website at work for the first time in years. Hasn't changed at all has it? Certain mods on there constantly giving the impression that they are somehow "in the know" about everything at Home Park and even that they have some sort of "influence" Today there's a few posts about Rick Cowdrey and before you know it, the fat controller leaps in with remarks about keeping comments abuse free, the guy has no avenue to reply etc.etc. What ironic words coming from a person (won't call him a "man") who is the ultimate nasty little keyboard warrior. Hopefully, now there's a new regime in control at HP, his pathetic nonsense will no longer be tolerated.

Newell hates Cowdrey, and vice versa. There's loads of history there. Newell used to get livid because of course Newell only ever does things for recognition, AAA passes, or eternal gratitude. Cowdery never ever used to acknowledge Pasoti at all and it used to piss Newell right off.

What's amusing is that even though Newell will be delighted that someone has posted a thread slagging Cowdery off, Newell still has to feign a telling off to them just so as to not upset the Home Park hierarchy.

Its long standing predating Brent by a few years, I don't know what kicked it off but Newell would always say "There was something of the night about him".

I remember the email tantrum making all sorts of threats over Cowdrey arranging a meet with ATD and Brent, there was also the piss take Argyle ebay account where you could buy Graham Careys coffee cup, which sailed totally over Nools head as he questioned where the money was going. "Good things" innit
