| Wonder how much he got for the shares?
No news on the HHP land buy back. Sure a true Argyle fan will only want the 400k it was sold for. |

| Lowe in, Brents out. What a fookin great 24hrs this has been.
First off, Newell buying a Pioneer package was the clearest sign that this was deffo in the offing. But Brent buying hospitality packages is very telling. Shorely there would be sufficient Boardroom friendships to guarantee a ‘Newell-style’ Directors Box invite every other week???
Clearly not. |

| GOOD RIDDANCE to the reluctant one. 8 years of austerity, failed ventures, lavishing honours on taxi driveing forum owners and wife stealers, no more keeping argyle amateur in its approach. He came here to build on the car park and nothing else he bought the club on the cheap and didnt put a penny of his money i ever since and relied on fans to pay off whereever he could. I truly hope simon bought his share of the land back so the club can havea complete breakaway from brent and he cant fleece the club anymore.
Simon Hallet's era has truly begun and hopefully its a success over time, hiring ryan lowe was a good start and this i even better. |

| Shame we didn't survive in L1 to usher in the new dawn of a positive looking manager and the removal of the property parasite. Bye James, thanks for seven years of shite. |

| Jesus wept
"Seeing the mess Bury are in gives a glimpse in to what could have been were it not for James Brent. How lucky we were that it was a man of his calibre who took us over and not some shyster (Ridsdale, perhaps?) As others have said, without James Brent we wouldn't have had a club, nor be in the strong position we're in now. He deserves every accolade given and probably more besides. I hope he enjoys just being a fan. Thank you James"
Brent is a Shyster feckin hell pass me another sick bag
Anyone checked on Nool, not swinging from a tree on the golf course is he ? |

Simon Hallet's era has truly begun and hopefully its a success over time, hiring ryan lowe was a good start and this i even better. Exactly. He came here to build on the car park. ‘Saving’ Argyle was literally a byproduct of his true intentions. He failed spectacularly on the property speculation front, but he was savvy enough to realise picking up Argyle for fook all was ALWAYS going to be a personal money maker in the long run. And that’s how it’s panned out. He’s walked away with his pockets laden with Hallett cash. That sticks in my throat still tbh, but bottom line is that without Hallett biting that bullet, Brent would still be here. So, bravo Simon. Good riddance Brent(s). |

Personally I don't like all our eggs being in one basket. Not critical of SH but 94% of shares in one set of hands must represent some risk.
As I said not doubting SH motives or commitment just a little nervous of future consequences of our club relying so much on one individual. Here we go..... Hallets already done a shed more than Brent in the short time he's been here. What's wrong with these people? |
