Substitution, Plymouth Argyle. Oscar Threlkeld replaces Ashley Smith-Brown.

Threlkeld and Taylor heavily involved in some of the attacking action as the duo combine well along with Ladapo to win a throw in deep in Bradford’s half. Sadly it leads to nothing.

Just think about where we would be if we kept Oscar in the first place....

Sign him up full time ffs

Argyle are starting to create some attacking chances, the latest sees Threlkeld send a superb ball into the box, it is headed down to Ladapo but he can’t get the space to shoot and the ball is cleared.

There's a pattern emerging here..... dnc

Threlkeld again creates a chance with a good cross from the right

Thank feck Macey isn't in goal

Super Kyle has saved us again !

Kyle Letheren makes a superb fingertip save to somehow keep out Eoin Doyle’s effort. Wow, superb stuff.

5pt cushion a decent point today, so bit of leeway with teams below who have a game in hand.

Nil nil bore draw with the second bottom club is not a good point made even worse when you rely on your keeper to save you from a stuffing.
If only our location did not prevent us signing a quality striker in Joe Mason, we may have had the win.

Should be winning these games. Sounded like Lethren saved our bacon.

On the second half showing this is a point gained really. They were all over us.

Talking of Letheren, he's turning out to be a real solid influence. When he came in last season he looked to be a calamity-in-the-making every time the ball came anywhere near him. I really don't know what's happened - remember this is a keeper released by a Conference club before we picked him up - but he seems assured, calm, and making big saves when it matters.

Fair play to him.

Absolutely agree with all that. How we didn't concede in the second half is a miracle. Take an undeserved away point anyday.

Point gained. Much more useful for us than them. Follow it up with a win v Rochdale and we will be 3 wins from survival.

Did sound like they battered us 2nd half but they were desperate for 3 points. Didn’t get ‘em.

First (and possibly only) match of the season.

Highlight was cheap booze in the Latvian club near the ground before kick off.

Feckwits at Valley Parade had no-one on the away cash gate until 3 O'clock, despite having about 10 goobers wondering around in high-vis jackets outside the turnstile. Even with the delayed kick off I still missed the first couple of minutes.

We were pretty much overrun for much of the start of the first half, and all of the second half. Managed to create a few chances in the middle of the first half, but apart from that we did little.
Letheren and Edwards were men of the match for us. Given the performance a point is probably more than we deserve.
If Threkeld is match fit he should be starting in place of Smith-Brown. Other than that hard to know what else we can do with the players we have. Too sluggish in midfield today.
