It is with great sadness that I note the demise of the above establishment, decades of this, that and the other swept away without so much as a by your leave. RIP

Whole area needs flattening. The state of those buildings where C103 was. I’m all for nostalgia and preserving things...IF someone is willing to do it. If not, flatten it. Can’t see the sense in keeping empty rotting buildings.

Stood behind the dance academy (in among the beer cans and used syringes) you can actually see the subsidence cracks running up the length of the building.

Union Street building maintenance must be in league with James Brent lol!

I've done a lot of work in there years ago and even back then there were huge cracks in the structure I'm amazed it's stayed up this long. I remember having to fix glass across the cracks with epoxy to measure how much it was moving. All week they were all fine, a rave on Saturday and they all shattered it was like a feckin great Kango hammer, feck knows what Hawkwind did to it.
The demise of Union Street is very sad there has been a policy change by planners to shift the nightlife down to the Barbican and then they went looking for the Brentie bunch to re develop our own dockside yuppie wonderland. We've just ended up with a whole end of town derilect.
