The Halletts are very supportive of the ladies team so he might be trying to get his foot in the door this way. I remember a few years ago on PASOTI IJN going on about womens football and it wasnt in a good way. IIRC he likened it to rugby which he hates

Yep, you’re spot on. Newell couldn’t have been more disparaging if he tried about women’s football in general.

Now he brazenly pretends to show interest because it gives him an outlet to leg shag the Halletts, even if they’re not even in attendance. He really does have no shame.

With the women's game being promoted heavily at the moment i hope the Hallet's embrace the womens team more than previous chairman have and help them grow to the next level making them more part of the club rather than a separate entity.

Being fully fledged Americans, let's hope they don't also further promote their culture with the  idea of the ridiculous Argyle cheerleaders. Culture is a two edged sword, and some things are best left on the dockside, missing the boat over.

we have cheerleaders already that angels group tht comes anf goes and the pasoti lot.

Agree wholeheartedly, they should be the number one priority in this brave new world. The male, stale not so pale version of the beautiful game has had it's day. Do they swap shirts at the end of the match?
