Please if you insist on posting YouTube links bear in mind some of us can't access YouTube app so if you post a link then just name the artist and track underneath the link, those are the rolls obey them or I'll move all offending posts to the grandstand thread on JBSOTI with my secret mod powers.

Saw Isaac Hayes doing a bit with Groove Armada at a festival in France, enough to bring a tear to my eye what a voice.

Love the whole album, Hot Buttered Soul and the soundtrack to shaft are brilliant albums. Lot of his later stuff a bit hit and miss, vergeing on the Barry White at times.

Put a fry up on whilst listening to Beggars Banquet my no 1 fave album by the Stones my absolute fave on that album being Stray Cat Blues wow. The percussive sounds of the piano are just awesome,
I know you're only fifteen years old,
I don't wanna see your ID...

They don't write lyrics like that anymore do they Bill?

Just discovered Greta Van Fleet. It's like listening to Early Led Zep on Crystal Meth. Wonderful stuff.

A newish band with many years and fantastic albums to come - I hope.

I shall check that out sounds like my thing. I watched later on Friday and Jools had Michael Kiwanuka who's just won the Mercury prize he was very good and a good prog to boot. Showed his influences with Bill Withers RIP and Issac Hayes and the brilliant Alabama Shakes. Worth a look foreshore the Mercury is THE only credible prize out there IMO.

I have been immersed in Texas Blues of late, Stevie Ray Vaughan, ZZ Top, but I will give the Greta Van Fleet a go.

The Greta Van Fleet 8 track EP released in 2017 is better than their debut album (Anthem of the Peaceful Army) check out the song - Highway Tune.

Listening to Six Music just played Magnificent Seven by the Clash, great tune, now playing Automation by King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard which if you like guitar based rock is pretty good.
