I heard ages ago that fishing would start again in two years time, not sure of exact date but must be soon.
Edit suspended until 2020 so seems like a rolling two year ban. They have studied Grebe nests and found more are nesting near the bridge since the boats aren't used. Of course a sensible approach would be to have controls in nesting season but this is more about a load of twitchy vegatarians pissing on the fireworks of people that they don't want to understand.
I don't know if Beesands is still fishing, there's a mini Ley there I fished it years ago but only ever had Pike at night.

Cheers Earwego, will look into it, ahh sitting here peacefully away from all the modern day crap watching my float bob in the water suspending a fresh Pilchard waiting with anticipation.
By the way I'm a fishing veggie watch those steryotypes now.☺️

Good cast Akers. Right on the money lol!

No offence taken Earwego the way I see it is that the English countryside is being ruined by industrial farming, building on grèen fields and inner city types complaing about the smell of manure and cockerels and church bells
waking them up.

Had a great evening in the Minerva last night after a day of marine biology at the MBA, I always enjoy the Thursday night jam session there, proper people and a real pub, feck all that corporate shit, then I walk up Looe street and see that metalic monstrosity taking shape - I wish we still had an old fashioned bus station.

Massive Oak at the end of the road just fell over in the night with the root plate still attached. Literally everybody is talking about it.

Today I shall mostly be looking out for falling debris. I’m hoping this will include my knobber neighbours fence, which is currently flapping like a turkeys wattle.

Cor, wettest day for years already. Should be fun when the wind arrives. The cat is climbing up the walls to get out.

My missus has insisted on watching Kirsties homemade Christmas. This is the knitting episode. She's making a very dull subject even duller if that's possible.

The world is bereft of ideas. It's bankrupt. So, wend your way up to Central Park, and have a game of "Foot Golf". Same as golf, but with footballs, bigger holes, and kicking replacing your swing. Jeez  Crying or Very sad
