the club are on it today. So no doubt the avivas will have a massive jizz fest over it and utter the famous lines we all know.

chris webb is probably on it considering he only turns up when there are cameras.

I see on PASOTI they are crying like babies because too much focus was on the Grandstand.

How unfortunate.

The state of the facilities of the grandstand is embarrassing maintaince has been shit on that stand for years even before moochie brent tookover.

I thought it was an ok 5 minute filler from the bbc got ruined by some idiot right at the end screaming green army.

Any media coverage request from Brent/Starnes/whoever is obviously going to concentrate on what the owners are up to, and of course always upbeat, no skeletons please.
I still laugh at the Brent "philanthropist" quote at some televised game a few years back. Quite clearly engineered as a deliberate aside, almost pre written like some product placement routine.
Of course, I can't prove that to be the case, so Rickler will be down on me like a ton of bricks Rolling Eyes

Quite amusing that many on the oafs forum are complaining of the excessive reporting on the Grandstand but no mention of it being redeveloped

Doubtless the BBC knew a LOT more than they let on. Redevelopment ?? Dont think so...

I was quite careful Reg, I was just manking about Brent, Newell's horse. Rickler's old nag didn't get a mention, so that shouldn't trigger media alarms at the Great Questionmaster's hovel.

Looks like the free thinking Nerds are not happy about the BBC portraying the Akkies as a two bob village outfit over achieving with a wonderous manager! seems like they wanted more about our seven year Meteoric surge to sixth in the third division under the glorious leadership of King Jimmy of Akkeron.

The PASOTI thread is brilliant, you could make it up. You've got Biggs still thinks the Grandstand is coming down, that the BBC will issue a retraction next week because it makes us look shabby and backward on a national TV platform lol! lol! lol!

Then you've got HC Green, who is bandying about conspiracy theory that Derek Adams is refusing the speak to the BBC.

lol!

Don't look at it much these days, but did have a peek at that thread after other comments about it, and it certainly is very odd. There is so much 'hate' being bandied about, led of course by the site owner - it seems if you don't support Brent then, you must hate him and in turn the pro Brenters hate the anti Brenters and never the twain shall meet.

All very strange, and smacks of lacking intelligence and education.

Unlike the educated w@nkers on here Very Happy

Good post by Greenskin on there though, no response from the site owner yet on the screenshot issue.
