What’s worth watching on Netflix?

Don’t say breaking bad!

Watching House of Cards at the mo. It's actually very good although I'm not sure that all politicians spend 90% of their time furthering their own careers at the expense of others whilst hurling knives into backs in rapid fashion instead of running the country like they are paid to do.
Power is alright but a bit been done before yada yada.
Chapo obvs.
Trailer Park Boys.
Arrested development American cheese but some really hilarious bits in it.
Peep Show.

It's as addictive as Meth. It shows the demise of an ordinary straight guy to being Mr Big in the meth world whilst being a 'normal' family man.

I said Chapo above which is good and I'm watching the new series now but I meant to say Narcos, the Escobar story, unbelievable, again showing real life is more unbelievable than a lot of fiction.

The subtitle thing has put me off Narcos, should probably just man up and go for it. Is it all subtitled or just partly?

Narcos is unreal, governments getting bombed into submission and having to do deals with drug dealers you couldn't make it up. I read recently that the man is still giving them trouble after several attacks on people by Pablos wild Rhinos, part of his farm zoo they've gone native along with feck knows what else. He was buying farms at one time just to bury money there must be £100's of millions still buried out there that people have forgotten about after getting killed by one side or the other.

The Spanish bits are subtitled if your Netflix account is legit. Even if it isn’t legit, it should be ok, though I watched a couple episodes and the Spanish speaking bit had no subtitles!

Narcos is simply fantastic. Can’t recommend it highly enough. I worried that season 3 wouldn’t be as good, but if anything it’s even better than the first two. Probably my fav tv show of the decade.

If you’ve not seen Breaking Bad, then OBVIOUSLY watch it. Then, after that watch Better Call Saul, which is a prelude to B.B. and follows the life of Saul Goodman, the lawyer in B.B.

Also if you have Sky Atlantic, watch The Tunnel. Proper gripping stuff. Series 3 is out as we speak but obvs watch the first two first.

The hitman’s bodyguard with Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L Jackson is a laugh.

As that sort of film goes it is actually very good.

Surprisingly seditious, actually.

I wouldn't go so far as to recommend it but if you have to watch a kids' film you can do much worse.

The trouble with films is that 99.9999999% of them should have never been released.

Have a look at the site I mentioned earlier in the thread. Completely FOC and newly released films added all the time.
I watched "The Foreigner" based on Stephen Leathers "Chinaman" book 4 weeks ago with Leather saying its only being released on Netflix and not shown in UK cinemas because of subject matter despite taking over $200m million already elsewhere
I'm on his facebook and he responds to messages and when I said it was already on in HD on a free site he was not amused

Caned both seasons of Stranger Things over Christmas, and it's bloody brilliant - especially for people who grew up in the 80s. Really well cast, scripted, and beautifully shot, with just the right amount of nostalgic nods to 80s classics.

I'm going to have a shuftie at Dark next.

Just this minute started watching Californication.
It seems to be loosely based on the writer Charles Bukowski.
