DEFENDER Sonny Bradley was absent from Plymouth Argyle's 2-1 pre-season win against Tiverton Town at Ladysmead on Tuesday night because of a toe injury.

Bradley, the Pilgrims' 2016/17 player of the year, dropped out of the squad after hurting himself in training in the morning, according to manager Derek Adams.

The centre-back, who has been linked in some circles with a move away from Home Park, did not travel to mid Devon for Tom Gardner's testimonial match.

Adams told Herald Sport: "He (Bradley) had a toe injury so that's why he was out today.

"No club has contacted us about Sonny Bradley. We have had no interest so that's as far as it goes."
