There's some big old brick shithouse centre halves down here that bounce off him.. has done very well for us and never once shirked... in a shitter than shit side.

He certainly has all the attributes to do well in the league - Rovers paid 100k or so for his potential - now at 26, it might be the right time - for the fee you paid, could be a shrewd signing.

Seems strange to pay 15k (+ potential extras) for a guy who at 26 has barely played a league game! Especially since we've just got a defender with a decent amount of league experience for free.

Hope he doesn't turn out to be another Nardiello. Adams has done OK so far picking up players on the cheap so maybe this one will turn out good.

The guy has signed now so hopefully he doesn't get a rough ride purely because of his price tag.

What happened to the last guy we picked up from non league he's disappeared....
He was a freebie as well not 15ks worth

I know things have changed a bit since I was a regular at Argyle and it does make a change for Brent to actually sanction a transfer fee.

But 15 thousand quid on a striker? Shit we would have kept that amount quiet 25 feckin years ago.

We paid a fee for Cowan Hall (3 goals in 40) in 2012 but I think that was due to his age.
