Sevilla became the first La Liga side to start a game with 0 Spanish players. First time in La Liga history.

shocking, but hardly a surprise.

Lot of Argentines though. The Spanish consider them 'long lost cousins'. But the time will come when no Hispanics start a game.

I suppose the Argentines are roughly equivalent to Welsh, Scots, Irish etc (so far as we are concerned as English people) to the Spanish.

There's also vast numbers of Argentines entitled to dual nationality. I used to work with an Argentinian who was eligible for both Spanish and Italian passports due to his grandparents (or was it great-grandparents?) so chances are many of those Argentines are sort of Spanish if you go back and look.
