Yes.....I still think it's moderately funny.....but it must be disappointing for charley that the tone of this site has been lowered by those that might not fully agree with his view on PAFC and the success that it is having at present.....but I assume the view is different from his rat hole....oops sorry mouse hole.

Well, you've unintentionally hit the nail on the head there. Because what I posted was about TT's umpteenth unfunny and cringeworthy attempt at topbantz and nothing to do with his views on the club - he could be the leader of the Brent out campaign and that attempt at a joke would still be a pitiful waste of time. And yet, because there is a small group who disagree with the prevailing view on this site about the club, you felt obliged to pipe up once again to defend one of its number.

So I don't know about lowering the tone, but I don't think that having three posters who virtually systematically show up on any threads where one of them is being criticised to mutually defend each other is particularly adding to the debate. Interesting also that you tut about stone throwing and have tutted about use of insults previously, yet apparently have nothing to say about a poster calling another an arrogant prat. I didn't know that hypocrisy was so catching

And of course you haven't noticed it, because you only notice - or admit to having noticed - what suits you and your views! I can't quite see the point of posting on a forum when you are going to cherrypick or refuse to engage with any opinions or facts which don't suit you - that seems to me to be an important part of what debate is all about. A fair decision to split the thread. Definitely a good decision to spare any innocent reader just wanting to read about the pre-season from having to read TT's pathetic attempt at a joke (although tgwu has quoted it, which is not very public-spirited!).
