This is the appointment we could have done with which would have created a buzz around the city and more optimism for the coming season.
All we have to look forward to is another season of dross.

Absolutely no guarantee that Sheringham will make it as a manager, in the same way as people like Bobby Moore, Bobby Charlton, Tony Adams, Ian Rush, Alan Shearer, Gareth Southgate, David Platt etc didn't. He may not be cut out for it and it'll be a major culture shock for him to be dealing with fourth division players and finances in comparison to what he's been used to in the past. Not convinced that this'll work out for either party but nothing against the bloke, good player to watch and good luck to him. He may need it.

What happened to Westley BTW?

Southgate is the presumptive favourite to take over from Woy the next time he really fooks up, which can't be far off.

That'd be a carbon copy McClaren-esque feck up.

So yeah, expect it to happen.
