sadly i feel his career is pretty much over i fear if he is still getting issues there are surgery and rehab on top of a year out then its very rare to make a full recovery without having that issue. Shame really as he had talent

What a horrible age to get a recurring knee injury. Hopefully it won't come to it, but let's hope he's got a plan B. Poor kid.

i hope the club look after him ie help get him into college/uni or an apprenticeship in what he would want to do if the worse came too it. Rather then leave him on the scrapheap at 20!

But i hope he can carry on with his career either here or elsewhere.

I don't know how the youth set-up works, but it would surely make sense if the programme for the under-18s included compulsory A-Levels or work experience outside football, considering the huge dropout rate from professional sport.

That's got to be a worry. Knee injuries are notoriously hard to recover from - as a footballer, you'd much rather break a leg than damage your cruciate ligament.
