Jenny, Forrest Jr., Bubba, Lieutenant Dan - all figments of his imagination weren't they. As for meeting JFK, the Beatles, and living with Elvis etc., he was living in his own fantasy world.
His scrambled brain and altered sense of reality were remnants of the 60s and 70s - daily acid trips and LSD, most likely. |
