Hospital car parking

No one has twigged, it the same as the PR at Central Park, the new multi story car park in the grounds of the Hospital is own and will be run by a private company so to fill if up they will be charges every body to park in the Hospital car- parks, They are closing the workers PR as well. NHT admitted that the trust would not benefit from the increase parking charges

Wharfside wanted to build a supermarket alongside 356 homes, shops and restaurants on its 16.5 acre site. The company has already begun building a car park next to the hospital.

In the early summer, a new multi-storey car park will open to the public, which will have 600 spaces, which are located close to the hospital entrances.

The workers PR are going to close the hospital bought the land in 2004 from the old South West Regional Development Agency for future development. It has been used as a car park for 750 staff, with capacity to take 2,200.
The regional development agency – which passed land on to the council – retained a buy-back option should development not take place.
The land deals will kick-start a development by The Hawkins Trust, operating as KDR, in the Seaton area. It will see a new school and 873 homes, as well as new jobs, new business premises and a link road for the north of the city.
The city’s Cabinet, meeting next Tuesday, 10 December will be asked to approve the sale of council land – together with acquiring NHS and MoD land – to help kick-start the project

You're right, SFD. Blue badgers!! don't 'currently' (good job Mr Brent doesn't run NHS carp parks) pay.

Wifey works at Derriford and the other night she was told her parking charges will be going up to £2.50/day from April 1st Evil or Very Mad

So I would like to thank, personally, the greedy bastards who will be running the new cash cow car park (CCCP  Laughing ) for increasing the POI household family expenditure by another £50/month. Thank you.

When my wife retired her last parking was 50p a day, that was only 5 years ago.
