Wrestling owner to buy Newcastle?

WWE owner (worth £1bn) is apparently looking to buy into Newcastle United.

I can't see it myself but you never know.

considering everything he has tried to do outside wrestling (you can check if you like) has failed badly and boy has he tried alot of things outside wwe i wouldnt be too excited as a newcastle fan if this laughable rumour is true.

I just checked. He tried to create an alternative to the NFL and also tried creating an ice-hockey league (obviously to rival the NHL). That's not like buying an established club in an established league. It'd be quite interesting and Ashley has wanted to sell for a long time. He's got a lot of cash.

The team entrance would be awesome.

he has also had a go at bodybuilding federation the WBF, nascar, flims which is still going today but to date has nevere produced a film thats hasnt been panned or lost money, music, politics innfact his wife spent more in her sentate runs than any politican in america not running for president and didnt even come close to winning. There are others but in short all of what i mention including the xfl and the ice hockey league you did he poured hundreds of millions into and all flopped like an impotent man in a porno. edited to add he had also tried taking on facebook with his own social media site and invested in an instagram like site that you upload 15sec vids again same story.

The only thing he has done well is WWE wrestling side of it and even that wasnt started by him he just made it mega on the back of buying out others and hulk hogan. Newcastle would be begging for ashley to come back lol
